I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at BCG Digital Ventures (Berlin) in Apr 2018
Interview
DV Berlin is incredibly thoughtful with their interview process, it is incredibly technical as well as they want to know who you are. Everyone is really friendly. I had to go through 5 rounds for the interview process, the first being HR call, 2nd being a phone call with an experience designer, the 3rd was a design challenge, 4th was in person panel as well as 1 on 1 interviews with at least 4 other senior employees, 5th was with an experience design director. Make sure you have the technical skills to back you up as well as presentation skills, they are really looking for incredibly talented people.

Question 1
Questions regarding the design challenge, and incredibly technical questions
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BCG Digital Ventures
Interview
A few rounds of interview with an assignment given.
1. Chat with HR
2. Design challenge, presentation & QnA session
3. Meet the other teams, QnA session
Overall the interview process was, I would say quite time consuming and requires you to set time and commit to the whole process. The team was amazing, the people were great and very casual chats but you would need to be well prepared to answer all kinds of questions.

If you were to only build one feature, which would it be and why?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BCG Digital Ventures (New York, NY) in May 2021
Interview
I was reached out by a recruiter and arranged a quick phone call about the position, the team structure, etc. Then I was scheduled for a 45 min video conference with a design lead and it was basically a portfolio review. Two days after, I received a take-home assignment. I was asked to complete it within 48 hours, and present my design in front of the team in the following week. The purpose of the assignment is to see your design process and how you managed to create a solution within a short timeline. After a few days, I met with the other three leads and I was being asked a few behavioral questions, and then presented my work.
The whole interview process was pretty smooth and I get replies from the recruiter pretty fast. But after I presented my take-home assignment, the recruiter started "ghosting" me. I have sent two follow-up emails and I have heard nothing from the recruiter. Two weeks later, I got a phone call from a new recruiter saying that I didn't get an offer.
