My experience with the BDX interview process was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. After an initial recruiter call, I was asked to submit two dashboards for Talent Acquisitions and the HR department as technical assignments. The recruiter informed me that my assignments would be reviewed, and if deemed satisfactory, I would be shortlisted for the next round.
Upon submitting my assignments, I received a call from the recruiter stating that my work had been shortlisted, and a video call interview was scheduled for the next day. During the video interview, the panel expressed their appreciation for my assignments and my positive attitude towards various situations. They requested another assignment, this time a PowerPoint presentation, which I promptly prepared and shared within a few hours. trying to ask confidential information as well about the current organization which was highly unprofessional.
However, after completing the first assignment, the video interview, and the second assignment, I did not receive any communication from the BDX team for two days. On the third day, I called the recruiter, who eventually answered on the second attempt. To my surprise, he informed me that the interview panel had provided entirely negative feedback about me.
This left me confused and frustrated. If there was nothing positive about my candidature, why did they conduct three rounds of interviews and provide positive feedback during the virtual interview? It felt like they took my personal work in the form of assignments, which included my file formats, and then rejected my candidature without any proper communication.
This experience with BDX was very unprofessional and unethical. They took all my personal work and then, without any communication, rejected my candidature. It was a very disappointing and depressing interview process.
