Completely broken interview process. Avoid like the plague. They interviewed me SEVEN times before finally deciding no. And I haven’t even gotten a rejection yet, just ghosted for 2 months.
Also HR is unreliable, doesn’t communicate well, and doesn’t help through the process

Interview
I had one interview with the team lead. It was a case study interview about one of my past projects. It took me around 4 hours to prep the slides.
The interviewer asked some questions regarding the metrics and how to measure success, pretty standard stuff. It seemed like the interview went OK. But I never heard back again from them even after I followed up for feedback.

Interview
BNYM's talent acquisition team makes promises that they don't fulfill. They just ghost you. Talent Acquisition met with me for the standard 15-20 minute screener just 6 days after I sent my application. Then a week later, I met the Hiring Manager for the main interview. The HM asked the usual behavioural questions and also walked me through more details about the role, which I found quite helpful. A few days after that, the same Talent exec whom I met earlier emailed an update. The feedback from the HM was positive, she said. I was elated and hopeful. But they also added that I'd have to wait for a few days to find out next steps because the interviewing team were on business travel. She promised an update. I told her, I was happy to wait. As I'd not heard anything for a week after that last exchange, I asked up for an update. But again, the Talent exec apologised; they were still waiting to hear from the Hiring team and asked if I could wait for several more days. Again, they promised an update. Still keen on the role, of course I was happy to wait. Another week went by. Nothing. No update. No emails or calls. Wanting to avoid being pesky, I sat and waited. Then another week. Again, nada. So, after failed promises that they'd get back to me, and me waiting and not hearing anything for two whole weeks, I got the hint and decided not to waste anymore of my time. I was ghosted. Overall, a disappointing experience. You would expect better from a firm of BNYM's repute!
