I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at BT Group (London, England) in Nov 2021
Interview
After submitting the application and before video interview stage, was informed by BT that the graduate program I applied to was no longer available. They offered to switch to another program which I did, completed a video interview for it and received an email a few weeks after saying I had passed the video interview but this doesn't guarantee a place at Assessment Centre because they interview so many people. This doesn't seem time efficient for both the candidate nor the employer. The actual interview itself was standard competency questions such as describe a time when you've overcome a challenge, when have you taken responsibility, what achievement are you most proud of and why etc.
Then received another email a few weeks after that (two months after the video interview...) stating that the scheme they had moved me on has changed and can only be completed in very different geographical locations. I found this process to be one of the most disorganised I have come across and expect better for a company of BT's stature. I would not recommend graduates to apply for a role here as your time will not be respected.

Interview
It was the first application I did, the process was fine but the video interview was quite difficult and they didnt give you an feedback after. However, it gave me a good understanding of the application process and I feel I could do better if I tried again now.
