Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you quantify the technical performance of a project
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Babcock International Group (Bristol, England) in Aug 2021
Interview
I sent my CV and was contacted within a few days by an HR rep asking my current experience and salary expectations (£40k). I was given a single interview over Zoom about a week later with two engineers from my discipline, which lasted approx 1 hr 15 min. I was informed within 24 hours of a job offer - at the low end of the range given for the role, £37k. I asked them if there was any scope for improvement and was called back a few hours later with an offer for £39k. Subsequently, I've been sent about 8-10 forms to sign and return (background checks, right to work, security clearance etc) with no start date until 'onboarding is completed'. This has made giving notice at my old job difficult.
