Was emailed and invited to interview, emailed back accepting, called 10 minutes later to arrange a telephone interview for the next day. All fine, researched the company thoroughly and was well prepared. Was called late via video call and then the interview was rushed, only competency based questions, not a single question about my experience, my CV or me. Clearly a candidate had already been found and this was a paper shuffling exercise. Never have I finished an interview and it was so obvious it was not going anywhere. Disrespectful, extremely unprofessional and disappointing for a job at this level. Was told I would hear by Friday but had to chase on Tuesday. I can see by previous reviews this isn’t the first time this has happened. They really need to consider the opinion this leaves an individual with of not just the interviewer and their integrity but also the company.
