It helped that a recruitment firm endorsed my profile so going through HR was a breeze, checking for typical soft cues: culture fit, personality and mindset/motivations. Hiring manager's interview was challenging given the pivotal role and clearly defined system. Interview with the President was last leg, with high level discussion on skills, vision and grasp on financial concepts and work ethic. Going into strategic business opportunities will get a candidate on the good graces of the President.
