I had an on campus interview that was surprisingly a 3 on 1. There was a pre-night dinner the day before which was a nice chance to get to know your interviewers better and to ask tons of questions about the firm. The people that came down were really open to answering questions, very easy going, easy to communicate with. I think usually, the interview is 2 on 1, but for some reason, i had 3 interviewers, all of which I met the night before. The questions asked were very typical of an IB interview. They focused a lot on my resume and my past experiences, asked me why I wanted to do I-banking, etc. There were no technical questions for the first round interview. Baird likes to focus more on culture than making sure you know the technicals, especially for an intern candidate.
I have been invited back for a second round interview. Hopefully that goes well. :)
