      Manager Interview

      6 June 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Toronto, ON
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Baker Tilly Canada (Toronto, ON)

      Interview

The two managers kept reading from scripts. No engagement, no opportunity for flow. I had to follow up with them to get an update after my interview. They stalled and did not provide an update. Obviously they were in negotiations with the preferred candidate. I withdrew from the process shortly after my interview. While I may not have been 'the candidate', and that is fine, I can accept that, it was their lack of respect towards me and overall ability to engage speaks volumes about their culture. Even if I had an offer from them, I would have turned it down.
