Baker Tilly's recruitment process is highly competitive. For students / recent grads, I suggest applying early since Baker Tilly focuses most of their efforts recruiting at partner schools for their summer and busy season (for accountants) internship programs. A majority of the full-time offers are extended to interns. Sophomores can apply to their Spend A Day or Externship Programs to begin to network early. At times, hiring seniors or grad students are done but positions are limited.
The process usually starts with an initial interview (on campus or on the phone with a recruiter). Selected candidates are then invited for the next round of interviews, usually in one of the offices. Behavioral based interviews are conducted to make sure candidates selected are going to be successful. What is nice about Baker Tilly's process is that the interviewers are pretty straight forward, honest, and really passionate about what they do. They just want to get to know you and specifically, if you can do the job and if the opportunity matches what you're looking for.
