      Senior Social Media Manager Interview

      21 Oct 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Balanced Body in Oct 2025

      Interview

I applied and had a voicemail from the recruiter, who was lovely, to schedule an initial screening call. She mentioned that the team has been hiring for this role for about a year, which was my first red flag. Then she also explained that the limited offers they sent out, didn’t work out. Second red flag. The call seemed to be going well, I have all of the experience they’re seeking and more, but to my surprise I received a rejection email a few days later. Without incriminating the recruiter, it felt very much like I would be moving to the next round. Overall, the recruiter was friendly and a great representative for the company, but don’t let that fool you. It’s obvious upper management has no idea what they’re looking for. They seem like the type who would slam the carriage in a Pilates class. Or maybe they just banged their head on the Cadillac bars one too many times? Needless to say, I’ll continue using their equipment, but avoid working for these folks…
