      Stylist Interview

      22 May 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Chicago, IL
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Balani (Chicago, IL) in May 2019

      Interview

I received and email shortly after applying to set up a phone interview. The phone interview was pretty standard afterwards I was asked to take an assessment that was made up in 3 parts the first one was 270 question to determine your personality. The second set was situational questions and the third were random math questions. This process is very time consuming. They clearly don’t feel competent hiring people on their own judgement. This process felt very icky and then I received a rude email that my score was far from the score needed to get hired. You would think someone’s skill set would be far more important than a test score.
