I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Balfour Beatty (London, England) in Dec 2015
Interview
The interview was overall pretty good, had to travel to London and they didn't cover the cost of travelling though which was pretty disappointing. With this being said they got back to me the day after the assessment centre which was good. The interview was normal and mostly competency questions.
I interviewed for the Graduate Engineer role and had a very positive experience. The team was welcoming and friendly, which made the process feel relaxed rather than daunting. Everyone I met was approachable and professional, creating a supportive atmosphere throughout.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Balfour Beatty (Dartford, England) in Dec 2023
Interview
Applied online, completed an online assessment, and received an email from a recruiter asking if I'd like to interview for a different role. My application was changed and was no longer considered for the role I originally applied for. During the interview, the guys didn't know what job I was actually interviewing for and therefore would not ask me any technical questions, nor did they know anything about a graduate scheme. Everybody seemed friendly, gave me a tour of the office and got introduced to some higher-ups. Was surprised to receive a rejection email on the basis that I could've answered technical questions better.
