I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Banfield Pet Hospital (Portland, OR) in Jan 2014
Interview
They usually call and perform a quick phone interview. As long as you are competent and able to hold animals, you will get an in person interview. They bring you in, and you sit down with the Practice Manager, who will proceed to ask you a series of pre-written questions prepared by the company. You will then get a hospital tour and they will let you watch some things and meet the staff working that day.

Interview
The interview was in-person just like regular phone interviews. They first ask you to introduce yourself and describe your experiences. Then, they ask about certain skills like catheter placement, blood draw, and surgery monitoring. I think it lasted about 20-30 minutes.

Interview
The interview was conducted by both a hospital manager and veterinarian. The questions seemed pretty standard for this position. All in all a straightforward interview. The employees there seemed content.

My manager was super nice and responsive when it came to the hiring process. I went from application to hired in less than a week. Great experience. Would recommend to others if they love animals
