I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Banfield Pet Hospital (Denver, CO) in Mar 2015
Interview
I was first called by a recruiter months ago. We didn't get far into the process before she asked about me salary requirements. I told her and she said that it was on the high side and then told me what the position range would be. It was too low so I had to say "thank you but no thank you". I was called about a few weeks later regarding an open PM position at a larger clinic in a different area where the recruiter told me that my salary requirements would not be "off the table". Her and I made a time to speak and a week later we had a phone interview. Many were behavioral based questions related to supervision a, management and financials.
She sent my answers and information on the field director who called me a few days later to setup a Skype type interview (I was in IL relocating to CO). I had a Skype interview with the field director and medical director. Again, most all questions were bag ideal based. Many "tell me a time when" or "what would you do if" type questions.
I then moved on to a Skype interview with the regional HR person. He didn't know anything about me. He had never seen a resume nor did he know that I lived in IL. I felt pretty uneasy after my conversation with him but I guess I did okay because I heard back about a week later about moving forward to a face to face interview.
I made a trip to CO (expenses paid by Banfield) and met with the field director, medical director and the chief of staff at he hospital I would be managing. It was a great, very informal and relaxed conversation that made me feel as though I had the job. I then spent about 3.5 hours in the hospital meeting some of the associates and learning how the clinic ran.
Overall it was a long process but very good. I didn't ever have to wait too long to hear back.

Interview questions [3]
Question 1
What is culture and what kind of culture is important to you?
Very drawn out interview process with little respect for the candidate’s time. Several broken promises in terms of timeframe as well as offer details. I wasn’t expecting much, but I still came out disappointed
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Banfield Pet Hospital (Columbus, OH) in Nov 2023
Interview
Was reached out by field leader to set 30 minutes interview without me applying for the position. Did that one then a week later had a second interview with same person and a peer of hers. After that interview I was told that I would be notified of the results the next day whether selected or not. Mind you again, I didn’t applied so I had no official communication from them. I tried to call and text and email but the leader never responded. I took that as a negative thing. Even if I was offered a position I wouldn’t had taken it given the fact that the leader is hard to reach. Both interviews were in the span of a week. The position was filled a month after initial contact.
