Question 1
How does your background/education/training fit the position
I applied online. The process took 8 months. I interviewed at Bay Area Air Quality Management District
Interview
The process is unnecessarily long. First you apply online. Then you get an interview... But you have a writing assessment 20 minutes before the interview where they send you a Bay Area Air Quality Rule/Regulation. You have to write a summary of the Rule and answer questions like: What does this rule apply to? What doesn't apply to this rule? etc. It is very difficult to read the entire rule and answer the questions. The send you the Rule via email and a link to a Google Docs document where you have to type your answer. Once you submit your answers, they send you a pdf copy to your email address just before the interview. Then, the interview begins and the very first question is please summarize the Rule. Get this... the entire process took 8 months and still counting. They have since ghosted me even though they said they would respond in about 2 weeks after the interview. Well, I suppose I didnt get the job.
