I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bay Systems Consulting (New Delhi) in Nov 2024
Interview
The 1st round involves an online assessment (OA) with basic DSA and OS questions, including MCQs and coding. The 2nd round is a technical interview focusing on solving medium to advanced DSA problems efficiently.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
### 3Sum
The 3Sum problem requires finding triplets in an array that sum to a target (typically zero). Common approaches include sorting and using two-pointer techniques for \(O(n^2)\) efficiency.
### Recurrence Equation
Recurrence equations define problems in terms of smaller subproblems, often used in dynamic programming or divide-and-conquer, such as \( T(n) = T(n/2) + O(n) \).

Interview
I don't usually leave negative reviews because I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but this experience was so shameful that I feel obligated to warn others. A person within talent acquisition replied to my job application via a LinkedIn InMail saying they were impressed with my experience and asked me to provide some times to speak. I replied with enthusiasm thanking them for their outreach and several time options across 3 days + my contact info. I didn't hear back so I followed up 3 days later. Curiously, they didn't reply but they did send me a connection request on LinkedIn shortly after. I accepted their request and followed up again 3 days later. No response. 4 days later I followed up again. No response. 2 days later I followed up again. I was consistently professional and positive in my tone of response. To this day though, I have never heard back from them. During the entire time they ignored my messages, they were also promoting new jobs, and commenting or reacting on other people's LinkedIn posts. It's absolutely gut-wrenching to think of how many talented colleagues of mine within Recruiting/HR are out-of-work through no fault, while this person lucky enough to have rode out the Tech layoffs is treating candidates with such insulting disregard. Do better!!
