I applied online. I interviewed at Bayer (Whippany, NJ) in Nov 2013
Interview
I was appalled at the level of unprofessionalism displayed at the interview. They made me wait for over 40 minutes after my scheduled interview time to begin, changed the interview format from one on one to group interview, and were busy chatting to each other about mundane things. Some of them even signaled to passers by through the glass meeting room walls and constantly messaged on their phones while talking to me. I am glad I don't have to deal with these people on a daily basis! Even though they represent a great brand, they seem to be an unhappy, disrespectful and overworked bunch. The only positive in my whole experience was the HR! I didn't expect such shocking behavior from a top notch company such as Bayer. I have worked in leading medical companies and was expecting Bayer to behave like one of those. Very disappointing, so beware when you interview with them!!
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
When attempts to 'catch' my non existent resume flaws failed, they added several rude and condescending comments to the usual interview questions
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bayer in Jan 2011
Interview
Interview was very straighforward. Everyone seemed happy and smiling. Only after working there was it apparent everyone was smiling in hope of not offending anyone in order to kkeep their jobs. They smiled from fear.
