I went through two rounds of interviews with Baytcom. The HR team first reached out to me via WhatsApp, which I personally found unprofessional for an initial contact. I believe professional companies should at least reach out by email the first time they contact a candidate.
The first interview went very well. The interviewer was on time, did not make me wait, and was friendly, professional, and respectful throughout the process. I was informed that if I passed the first stage, a second interview would be scheduled with the Brand Manager.
After approximately 2.5 weeks, HR contacted me again to schedule the second interview. However, the process became frustrating, as the interview was rescheduled four times. When we finally agreed on a date and time, the second interviewer did not show up and kept me waiting for 30 minutes without any communication.
I reached out to HR to let them know I was waiting, but I received no response. Eventually, I had to leave and informed HR that I could not continue waiting since the interviewer had not joined. HR replied a day later, saying they would check with the interviewer regarding the missed meeting. After that, I received no further communication and was completely ghosted.
While my first interview experience was positive, the lack of professionalism, repeated rescheduling, poor communication, and absence of follow-up during the second stage left a disappointing impression of the company’s hiring process.
