Interview
I think this was one of the most unprofessional interview experiences I have ever experienced. I interviewed to be a part of the social media team in summer of 2019. I don’t recall who initially reached out, but she asked me a lot of questions and told me that my interview had impressed her manager. Next I did a phone interview with her manager, Rosy, who just came off as very cold and had a condescending tone. Looking back at it, and that the position i’m currently in, I was way overqualified for the job to begin with and should not have applied. But Rosy’s cold and condescending demeanor almost made me feel as though I wasn’t qualified. Super strange experience. She also asked me my zodiac sign and when I responded she grunted and said “hmmm, that doesn’t quite fit with me (I think she was a leo but I can’t remember) and the other teammates”. what a strange thing to discriminate against. anyway, she ended up just ghosting me and not even following up when i reached out. again, just very very unprofessional. do better guys.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Beauty Bioscience (Dallas, TX) in Feb 2019
Interview
I spoke to the CFO and CEO for about 20 min each. Also had a call with a remote team (I believe they handled branding). CEO's interview was more about vibe. CFO interview was a review of my experience.
