I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bed Bath & Beyond (Layton, UT) in Apr 2016
Interview
You're interviewed by a manager from the call center floor. You're applying for a customer service position so as long as you spout the usual BS about helping the customer and what not the job is practically yours. The turnover rate at the Layton center is quite high so they're always hiring.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were all generic customer service questions.
Long and stressful didn’t get a call back for weeks and wasn’t hire after more weeks. Managers are over worked and take it out on employees, customer a rude and couldn’t get past the fact that we were just trying to do our jobs.
Interview with the keyholder over front end operations. Within a week or so you’ll hear back on whether they want to proceed. If they choose to proceed you might interview with another keyholder or you’ll receive an offer.

Question 1
What would you do if you had an upset customer in front of you and the phone ringing?
The interview process was simple and they were hiring right on the spot. I spoke with the store manager and another manager and they both were very nice. I filled out an application online first.
