I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bedrock Learning (Cambridge, England) in June 2022
Interview
Initial call with their Head of Product and the Recruiter to discuss the role and learn about myself, and answer questions on my experience etc.
Second stage was a brainstorming session with the Head of Product, she would show me the platform and discuss areas they were finding problematic, and I would give insights into how they could be improved or how I would go about the process of improving them.
3rd stage, was a research and design task, which I would then present to them. However, upon sending them the designs and presentation, I heard nothing back from them for over a week, before being told by the recruiter that they were changing the role type and looking for a more junior candidate instead. I pushed for more feedback on what they thought they were not getting from a more senior but was completely ignored, despite numerous emails. I also was forced to remove them from the design links I had sent them over via my presentation, as they will still accessing them after the rejection, which gave the impression they dined and dashed, gaining insights from the the interviews and then using the designs and research methodologies I had sent them.
