Ask questions, with a marking scheme. They want you to highlight main points regarding serving. Chat with the manager as much as possible, because you might hit more points the more you talk.

Question 1
A customer is upset, what do you do to fix the problem?
Easy interview as they put anyone they hire through an intense training process where you are just the runner unable to serve your own table for approx 6 weeks…. Little to no money until you make it through training and tests

Question 1
They will ask where you see yourself in 5 years and let you know that they are looking for someone who sees themselves staying as a server long term, not many questions other than availability, etc because they put you through 6 weeks of training and 4 hours worth of tests before you can serve a table by yourself so they don’t need to screen much during the interview other than to know you won’t leave during the draining training process (no tips made until week 6 and 3 hour training shifts for those 6 weeks)
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Beertown (Oakville, ON) in Oct 2023
Interview
Pretty simple interview process. Supervisor that interviewed me would ask basic questions that you could most likely find online under "Host/Hostess interview questions" on Google. Fast first interview and then second interview was similar but this time it was a different Supervisor and they would ask personal questions to get to know you and your goals!
