I applied online. I interviewed at Bellingham Public Schools in June 2021
Interview
They were unkind and suggested that my references had said I was unprepared which I was not. The direct quote was "does this surprise you that your reference said..." It was very surprising given my reference said nothing of the sort and caught me off guard. I wish I could have reported their hiring process to HR as it left me feeling icky. The tone felt like I wasn't good enough but there were willing to try. I should have known that the tone in that interview perfectly described that admins approach to "being a leader."
