Applied through Aerotek, a staffing agency. They took my resume and two references. I had a phone interview and then came in for a short in-person interview. The final thing they did was check my two professional references. After those checked out fine, I was offered a position. Not sure if it matters, but I did have to submit to a drug test to be able to start working.
Very easy! Super friendly team. They really wanted to make sure that who they are employing are enthusiastic about the job. It was a phone call and only took about 30 minutes to discuss the details. They sent an email before the interview that answered all my questions about the position too.

Easy and Quick for Contractors who are really that much of an asset as a body count during open enrollment where call volume is crazy. Think of a restaurant during busy season or seasonal jobs during xmas.
