      Software Test Engineer Interview

      2 Aug 2019
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Columbia, MD
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Berkshire (Columbia, MD) in June 2019

      Interview

I applied for a software tester through indeed a lady from the company contacted me to schedule a phone interview. I had a 20-30 Minutes phone interview after that they invyme for an in person interview..Went in for an in-person interview, the interview was divided into two parts first part was conducted by two interviewers questions were base experience/ previous projects etc and second part was 30 technical interview. In total I had spend more than an hours giving interview that day and an another 30 on the phone interview . It has been two months but to this date, I haven’t received any further communication regarding the interview or the position. I don’t expect to get job offers from every company I interview with but I think it would have been appropriate and courteous if they have send an email informing the candidates that they were pursuing someone else or moving in another direction. if a company can spend close to 2 hours on conducting interviews they can certainly spend couple of minutes sending a two line emai updating status of your application.
