It's abrasively fast and all about the P&L. This is not the typical "BBY" interview. There was no mention of TMAAT or any other stuff that comes with sales. Wanted to know if I had talked to anyone about the interview or applying for the position. Accepted my background in business outside of the company but was denied immediately after the phone interview ended based on not knowing the Bestbuy way in P&L. Fair enough but when I say she was breakneck fast in terms of rate of speech - it was worst than anything else I've ever experienced and I am a fast talker and prefer it. This wasn't a moment to talk fluff about oneself but hurry up and explain 3 things that I use to dictate how I look at P&L. I wanted to ask had she ever been a GM, DM, or Territory Manager. I do respect the fact that I was denied as soon as the questions stopped and explained why. That's the best thing, in my opinion.
