I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Beyond Identity
Interview
Two interviews. The first interview was with a Principle Engineer who asked some basic technical questions and went over my background. This was a profession and traditional interview. The second interview made me wish I had read the reviews here prior to interviewing! This was an interview by more junior members of the "team"--but not the team I was to be on--and was completely non-technical. The questions were all designed to see if you gave the "correct" social answers. This is a very "woke" company, if that's not a passion for you, then I would avoid them. I came away with the strong impression that they were more concerned with building a "cliche" than getting people who know how to develop software. Also, it came out in the interview that the company was adding headcount without clear plans for what those people were going to be doing. Lots and lots of bad signs here...
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
First: describe past projects and highlight aspects relevant to the job description.
Second: a bunch of social situation question--think an HR interview but run by less experienced software developers.
