      ETL Developer Interview

      26 June 2018
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Beyond, Inc. in Apr 2018

      Interview

The first Phone screening happened on last week of March with the hiring manager. The second interview was a technical SQL white boarding via webex happened a week after. This time it was more of a panel interview (7-8 people) and I wasn’t told that it will be a panel interview. So anyways it was an hour SQL white boarding which I did good. Then after a week’s follow up I was told that the team is finishing up other interviews. This update continued for almost a month. Then I was informed that I am one of the top choice and there are multiple roles with different other teams and I have to appear for another interview with another hiring manager. This time again there was phone screening (technical and behavioural) with couple of members from that team. Following week (May 1st week) I receive a rejection mail saying they got a stronger candidate. They had applied my profile through 3-4 position and suddenly they got candidates to fill all of their positions, seemed unrealistic. Felt like wasted a lot of time with them.

      ETL Developer Interview

      13 Apr 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Salt Lake City, UT
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Beyond, Inc. (Salt Lake City, UT) in Apr 2016

      Interview

I was basically searching for ETL Developer positions and came to know about this position in Glassdoor. Though the required tools and technologies were Oracle Golden Gate, Oracle Data Integrator and Microstrategy, somehow I have applied for the position as I wanted to take a chance as I am basically an Informatica ETL developer. Recruiter emailed me saying that the hiring panel was impressed by my resume ( I did not fake anything in my resume just stuck to the Informatica part). I have answered all the questions with examples but they have sent me a automated reject mail the next day after the interview. I believe they rejected me because of my less hands on experience using the above mentioned tools except Informatica Powercenter.
