The interview process was 3 rounds and an assessment. The entire process took about a month. HR was responsive, except towards the end. They decided to close the position. They told me this one week after my final interview. I would have thought nothing of it, had they not done this to two other people within the last few months. I don't know if their openings are even real, but this struck me as highly unprofessional at best, and highly unethical at worst. Good candidates are putting forth so much effort, usually their best effort, assuming the prospective employer is doing the same and not wasting each other's time. But it's happened more than once where they 'open' a position, interview folks, and then unceremoniously close it. If you're a candidate, I advise you to avoid this company. Their hiring practices don't pass the smell test.
Applied online and was able to secure the first round interview. Interview went great and then I was ghosted after the interview and follow-up emails for almost two weeks. They seemed pleasant enough on the call, but then received a generic rejection email.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Big Leap in July 2024
Interview
I worked for Big Leap several years ago and left on good terms and in good standing. When I applied again, I was asked to create a short sample for an optimized landing page. I completed the sample and was told I'd hear back within a week and a half. The hiring manager ghosted me. It's been three weeks and I still haven't gotten a response, despite multiple emails requesting an update. It's clearly not the company it once was.
