Unnecessary lengthy and lacking any proper structure. The same questions are gone over again and again. No proper insight is given into the role or organisation. Not a happy camper.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Billogram in May 2022
Interview
I applied with my resume. Then a phone call with the technical recruiter who was very nice and professional.
After a phone call he informed me that I will be going to the next step which is a video call with the CTO.
The call went very well she is a very experienced CTO.
After that they sent me a technical task and gave me a week. The task was good. I designed and built the solution then submitted the Repo.
After couple of days they told me I will move forward to the technical interview to discuss my solution with a senior product manager and a senior software engineer.
The software engineer didn't show up for the interview, I attended the technical discussion with the product manager. It went very well and it was basically around system design more than code interview.
After that they told me I'll move to the next level to meet the team that I will be working with. I did meet them and they were very nice.
Then the recruiter asked me to provide references, and I did and he talked to them.
Over all so far it was cool.
After that I had a call from the CTO to tell me the offer, Then she sent me thee offer to my Email.
I asked for time to do a deep search as I will be relocating to Sweden.
After 4 working days I sent an email with all the questions and I negotiated the salary.
One week after I received a reply from the CTO that unfortunately they will retract the offer as my relocation process might take sometime Plus they don't have any openings that fits my profile.
This is my whole experience with Billogram.

Question 1
1- Talk about your experience?
2- A take home task to design a solution considering system design and code in one day of work?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Billogram in May 2022
Interview
I had a first meeting with a recruiter, then a kind of introductory, non-technical interview with one of the managers about my experience and motivation, as well as the company's structure, stack and product.
Then I was given a technical take-home assignment, I was recommended to put around 2 or 3 hours into it. It had both an implementation and a systems design element, this being a senior position. I completed it, although I had to spend a bit more time on it than suggested.
Then I had a 75 (?)-minute follow-up technical interview revolving around the assignment. I had a generally good experience, the task was well-defined, the process was described early on, and they were flexible with scheduling. I did not end up having an offer though, I was most likely not impressive enough in the technical interview.
