I applied online. I interviewed at Bird & Blend Tea (Newcastle upon Tyne, England) in May 2026
Interview
fun and relaxed, the interviewer was more focused on personality than asking questions. Overall I found it great, it was about 15 minutes long, so not too long a nice length of time!

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bird & Blend Tea in June 2025
Interview
First interview is over the phone which I liked because it meant I could relax a bit. Was able to request reasonable adjustments for this stage easily. They ask quite a lot of questions but if you prepare you will be fine.
If you're successful in your interview you get invited to a (paid) trial shift which was around an hour. They get you to interact with customers and do some sampling, which was chill. At the end of the trial shift the manager asked me some more interview-like questions which threw me off as I wasn't told before that that was going to happen. A couple of days later I got a call that I got the job :)
