I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at BitTitan
Interview
Started with a online tech screening form; a new one but quite interesting to complete..took about an hour to complete. Example questions; differentiate been a post/get request, a client emails you angry etc
Next a call from HR..and a few days later onto a tech interview with Software Dev manager. Called 10 mins late from a noisy common room( problem booking a room). Had to switch to my iPhone Skype because I couldn't hear him over ipad. Questions about api and tech diagnosis experience. Use case scenarios (a bit scarey); "imagine that a partner is using migration wiz and only 4 out of 10 email accounts upload what do you check?". Did ok.
This is where the process got fairly bad.Was waiting 9 days after this to hear if I got through to another interview. Had to ask for an update after 5 days then wait another 4 days until I got a reply saying I would be interviewing next week and they would get back to me.
Few days later, an unannounced call from HR with interview date/time. 10.30pm at night for Skype call interview. When I asked HR if many applicants were through to the final round, I was told "our money is on you to get the job". Was told I would be meeting with the hiring manager who is based in the US
The night comes..Skype call is almost 20 mins late. 2 guys instead of one. Not very good at putting candidates at ease. Quite an arrogant demeanour from both. I previously had worked for one of the worlds largest tech company's (say X) and felt that this worked against me. A number of times the hiring manager mentioned "well we are not X u know?It is different here". However it would be impossible to answer the questions I was asked without mentioning company X. Also I discussed different support perspectives that I had leaned frm working in the Asia market that again didn't seem to go down well. Am I too experienced for this guy? :p
Few days later HR send me a cryptic email asking me if they should check with the hiring manager! Then they asked if I met with him last week. I said I had and asked when I would hear back about it. No answer for a week so chased for an update. Received a templated rejection email. Asked for more feedback, as felt it would be beneficial for future interviews. Felt I had done the interviews well. Never got an answer.
A few weeks later I got an offer from the worlds leading finance corporation. If you are looking for professionalism, maybe set your sights a little bigger that BitTitan

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at BitTitan (Kirkland, WA) in Jan 2016
Interview
Quick contact by the HR dept, with a request to complete an online questionnaire to determine skill level, and product knowledge. Follow up by HR pre-interview was quick, although almost always by email, and they did not provide a phone number until late in the process.
Offer process was a bit more time consuming, and seemed to take some time between followups.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Interview was more of a discussion and overview of my work history, and the job description. It wasn't super technical, and seemed to be mostly focused on customer service, and communication.
