It was a first chat with a recruiter, the next steps were not mentioned. I was approached via LinkedIn for the role, during the Call a few questions regarding my experience were asked, the recruiter did not interact a lot with me, they were mostly just typing and then asking the next question. At the end I was asked about compensation expectations and then was told that it is above their budget and it doesn't make sense to continue talking. I was asked if they can keep me in the talentpool for future roles but it was mentioned that it would not make sense.
