I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Black & Veatch (Overland Park, KS) in Feb 2014
Interview
First of all, you need to introduce yourself. Then he asked me about some situation questions. Things like difficult situation you had in the past and how you dealt with that. Because I have a PhD, he asked me why I would apply as an entry level engineer. On the interview form, they have a check mark of EIT or not. Make sure you pass the FE exam.
Virtual interview with three people. Questions pertaining to experience and culture. Opportunity to learn more about the office and active projects was clear. Good experience with the interview process. Would recommend.

Question 1
What kind of projects have you had experience with?
Phone interview and then zoom interview. Was promised I'd hear back within a couple weeks but never heard back. I reached out to my interviewers after some time and did not get a response.

Question 1
They focused a lot on situational questions: Tell me about a time you worked on a team you didn't agree with, etc.
Great and easy. Felt like I belonged and was easy to communicate with staff. Interview was not scary and was great to speak and learn about the company’s goals and ideals.
