I had a smooth interview process with Blacksky. The team was proactive and communicative, and the interviewers were knowledgeable and engaging. Every interview was insightful, with questions covering both technical skills and team fit. There were 3 rounds of interviews, the first with HR and the second with the hiring manager. The last round consisted of 4 consecutive interviews with people from various departments. Blacksky was very accommodating and I was given the option for remote or in person for these interviews. Some of the interviews, particularly with the hiring manager, were challenging from an in-depth technical perspective. The entire 3 round interview process did take some time as there were delays due to people being busy or out of town. Anytime I reached out to HR for an update they were very responsive. Overall I thought the interview process was setup well to find good candidates and there was plenty of opportunities for me to learn about the company, position and culture. Everyone treated me with kindness and respect.
