Applied on Indeed on April 9th and was asked for an interview on April 13th. Only 6-10 applicants shown on the ad. First interview with current sales coordinator was over the phone and lasted 30 minutes. Follow up interview with her supervisor was completed on April 17th over the phone. Then I had to follow up a week later to find out they went with another candidate. Good thing I reached out otherwise they would've definitely ghosted me. Funny how we, as applicants, must be professional in all communications but companies are allowed to take up unemployed people's already stressful time and then never provide a final answer. Plus they asked for my salary requirements and I knew from there that they were really only looking for the cheapest qpplicant. Not the best fit. I used to track millions in freight and over 20+ monthly containers in international logistics. This job would've been a cake walk. Clearly, I was too expensive for a company that makes double-digit millions in profits.
