      Front End Engineer Interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Blink (London, England) in Oct 2025

      Interview

First round call with the Head of Product Engineering. Was a good chat. It was nice to speak to an engineering from round 1, it helped me get a sense of the place. Round 2 was an in-person in-office interview with the Head of Product Engineering and a backend engineer (senior I believe). I was asked to prepare to speak on and potentially whiteboard 2 things: 1) a computer science topic; 2) a recent technical challenge. I think this was a good way of doing the technical portion of the process. Helps each side get a feel for the other in person, let me see the office and get a sense of it, and the actual interview was quite fun to prep for. Last round was an in-person in-office behavioural interview with 2 senior members of staff, I think it was CISO and Head of Product. I felt it was a good chat. Although I'm not good at determining these things so who knows.
