      Compliance Coordinator Interview

      15 July 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Block (San Francisco, CA) in June 2016

      Interview

I was contacted by a recruiter after submitting my application through Smart Recruiters. She asked me to complete a 10 question writing sample, which I nailed since she got back to me within a day. We had a short 20 minute phone interview to make sure I had the minimum qualifications, scheduled the in-person interview for the following week. The recruiter sent over a brief list of topics that was to be covered which was nice for preparation purposes. The interview consisted of 4 different interviews with team leads which each lasted 30 min. I felt confident coming out of the interviews, but I guess I wasn't the right fit. Given that the recruiter was super responsive in the beginning and then suddenly fell off the radar (I had to wait 2.5 weeks for the rejection email) was a tell tale sign.
