I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Block in May 2025
Interview
The process was relatively long (over a month), and involved a number of 1 one 1 interviews, and also a 'speed dating' style interview session with 5 half hour interviews with various people back to back. I was kept up to date throughout the process. Due to the global nature of the business, some of the interviews were outside of normal hours (e.g 11:00PM). They moved quickly once the offer was made and I accepted.

Usually multiple rounds are conducted and at times there may be a written test. The focus is on strategic alighment with the team and overall values. Increasing focus on technology and AI in non tech areas as well.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Block (Melbourne) in Dec 2020
Interview
A really in-depth process. Phone screen from recruiter - Zoom with Lead, Zoom with 2 or so cross functional partners & a panel presentation with brief to prepare.
Can feel daunting on Zoom, you sit on a meet link for an hour and a half and people jump in and out.
It was such a quick process, my Lead was very supportive through it all and my Recruiter was incredible, answering every single question in a timely manner. Majority interaction is via email.
