I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Bloomberg (New York, NY)
Interview
Clear and detailed. Recruiter was very responsive and made the experience smooth. That was helpful because I was nervous about the interview. Met with multiple managers and all were professional and nice.
I applied online. I interviewed at Bloomberg in Mar 2026
Interview
The HR screening was disappointing. The recruiter was late, frequently interrupted my answers, and appeared distracted—looking at other things throughout the session—which created a dismissive atmosphere with minimal eye contact. Most of the questions were repetitive, covering details I had already provided, suggesting a significant lack of active listening. I asked about the team structure and who I would be working with. The recruiter failed to provide any direct or substantive answers; it felt as though she hadn't even reviewed the JD or the specific requirements of the role.
I found the listing online and from start to finish it was a very smooth process, 3 parts between HR team and design team. was informed throughout the whole process
I applied in-person. The process took 7 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Seattle, WA)
Interview
Honestly I felt being part of the act in the whole interview process. Applied for senior role and got interview invite, then was told to hold the interview for a mid-level role. Waiting for 3 weeks and finally apply again for the mid level position. In the whole process, I feel they are intentionally stalling the interview, shown by the fact that they added 1 more rounds making it total 4 rounds even though they told me it was going to be 3 rounds. And they always chose the latest available date I provided. And I always needed to follow up for the interview schedule. Even though I was told all the feedbacks were positive up to the extra final round, they rejected me while I was waiting for a call with their immigration team. So hellooo? Why bother acting like this? And why stall the whole process to be more than 1.5 months long??? Why do you have to create all these obstacles for the candidates??? Aren’t you just taking advantage of the gloomy job market???
