Interview
The interview was conducted online, following an initial pre-selection based on a CV review and the PLUM assessment. It consisted of sex pre-recorded questions, each requiring a video response. Candidates had 1 minute and 30 seconds to record their answer for each question.

Question 1
1. How do you handle situations where team members have differing opinions or approaches in achieving a common goal? And provide an example that you successfully managed the situation.
2. Imagine yourself as an Analytics rep, you have several clients questions coming in at the same time. How would you decide how to prioritize which questions to respond to?
3. Give an example of a time you came up with a new idea or process improvement. What went well and what could you have done better?
4. Can you share a recent example of a significant setback or failure you faced? How did you respond, and what did you learn from the experience?
5. Our Terminal is a premium product. How would you convince a potential new client that the cost of a Terminal subscription is worthwhile?
6. Talk through a recent world event and how it might affect a specific market player (e.g a trader or an asset manager)
Begins with a personality assesment that also includes puzzles meant to test pattern recognition. The assesment and the personality quiz takes about 30-40 minutes and requires no preperation before hand.
First was Hireview, 1 Hour interview with two team leaders, and assessment centre, consisting of tests, networking, and a final round interview with two team leaders from analytics and sales departments respectively.
Multi step interview process, they have you submit a recorded video interview, then you get selected for a virtual super day where they interview a bunch of candidates at once, then you get an in person. Know about finance and know as much as you can about Bloomberg and its business. Have a good take on AI in finance.
