I applied online. I interviewed at Blue Dog Bakery in Aug 2023
Interview
The interview process for this position was about 2-3 weeks long. At first, the team was really responsive and quick to schedule next steps. In total, I met with three different people and had pretty good conversations with all of them. A week after my 3rd and final interview, I received an email saying that I did not receive the position. I was initially bummed about this, however after a closer look I realized that the rejection letter was addressed to someone else. Both of our names start with the same letter, but our names sound nothing a like. After spending three weeks communicating with this team, I found it extremely disrespectful that the HR contact who emailed me couldn't even be bothered to double check the name before emailing me a rejection. I followed up with the email almost immediately and asked for clarification, just in case there was a mix-up (although I had assumed there wasn't), but no one has responded to me. Although I had a decent experience interviewing with Blue Dog Bakery, how they ended the process left a bitter taste in mouth.
