The interview process was fairly standard with leadership followed by the technical team. There was a total of 5 interviews scheduled over several days.
My positive perspective of Bluerock shifted once talking to their senior level engineers. It was clear that they are looking for a quality engineer with slight focus on typical domain-level engineering expertise. This would be fine, if the job description reflected this - but it certainly did not.
I was asked if I have developed user experience interfaces as an applicant for an electronics engineer instead of discussing anything related to actual electrical engineering.
I decided to not pursue to role, as I prefer technical implementation of various engineering disciplines - rather than writing down requirements in spreadsheets and pretending that I am an actual engineer.
