Over the phone interview went very well and they wanted me to do a project at home over the weekend. Project using Qt Creator tool that I have never worked with. Nor did I know QtXml. I was writing a lot of Qt code without using QML and graphic visual tools. At first I refused saying that I need time o learn using this tool, but they convinced me to try. So I downloaded and installed it and spent all weekend learning how to use this tool and finally made a project they wanted. But they voted it down saying that button didn't have correctly curved corners and that I didn't design it using Model-View-Controller architecture. Come on guys! I spent most of time just to learn how to lay out buttons, set up their properties and dynamically interact with other objects, it was about learning this tool. I just wasted A LOT of time, I was VERY frustrated and angry at them. It was in late 2016 or early 2017.

It was pretty Bay area type of interview. First a technical phone screen, followed by a onsite round. People are friendly and smart. The tech stack is modern as well. Interview questions ranged from resume to Node JS to API development design questions to a few questions from Leetcode (easy and medium). Pay is good as well. Product has lot of potential to grow!
