      HR Generalist Interview

      13 Apr 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      London, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Board International (London, England) in Mar 2025

      Interview

There was no initial recruiter call to gather the usual information around role fit, compatibility, or salary expectations. The first interview was arranged directly with the People Partnering & TA Director, which in itself was not an issue. After the interview, I was advised that I was one of the first candidates to be seen and that I should expect an update within approximately two weeks. It has now been over a month. I followed up with the recruiter, as I remained genuinely interested in the role, but unfortunately received no response. This lack of communication reflects poorly on the candidate experience. Applicants invest time preparing for interviews and adjusting their schedules to attend them; the very least they should receive is timely feedback. Given that this was an HR position, the experience has raised concerns for me about the team’s approach to candidate care and overall recruitment standards. It has made me reconsider whether this would be the right environment for me.
