I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bolinda Publishing in June 2024
Interview
It seems that they have a real high turnover rate for this role. I applied twice and was called back twice, told I was too qualified for the role. The second time they tried to dissuade me from the role I applied to and suggested I might be more suited to a different role. I had a good interview but was rejected the next day. Mixed messages and the reviews I’ve read made me feel sus about the prospect of working there. I’ll avoid applying in future cos their interview process has just been wasting my time and very weird vibes
I applied online. I interviewed at Bolinda Publishing (Melbourne) in Feb 2022
Interview
The interviewer was extremely unprofessional, belittling, and rude. A job interview is supposed to be a two-way process – get to know me and I get to know you – however, whenever I tried to answer a question or explain something she spoke over me condescendingly, put my answers down constantly, and ignored what I had to say. There is absolutely no way that I would want to work for this company if she represents those who work there...
And then she asked for my expected salary, I politely said I would need time to think about it, to which she smirked and replied with: 'your application will not be processed any further until you supply me with this information.' I never got back to her, who would want to work with someone like this?
Unprofessional and seems to be quite a toxic work environment.
