Met with leaison, they explained the process for acquiring route. Then took deposit. I was trained by said person on how to do the job. This includes how to use the inventory system and what do do while in the stores that you service. This training lasted 6 weeks and they then decided if they are will to let you have the route.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bon Appetit Bakery (Columbia, MD) in Jan 2018

the phone interview was easy and quick, then an in-person interview, pretty easy questions regarding my previous experience on my resume. some small chats with the manager then I was hired.

Interview
Short training period the follow doing a few deliveries. They don't really care if you do it well because they will cut your pay or steal accounts from you. If you buy a route they will force you do waste a lot of tile servicing small accounts.
