It’s really disappointing to learn that despite performing well in the interview and even receiving positive feedback from the interviewer about my knowledge and overall performance , I was rejected.
I later found out that they were no longer hiring for the original position and had changed the job description without informing the candidates. It’s frustrating to be rejected after giving my best in the interviews, especially when the reason was unrelated to my performance.
As an HR or recruiter, I believe it’s important to communicate transparently and provide honest feedback when such changes happen. A direct call explaining the situation would have been appreciated. Instead, I received a generic AI-generated rejection email, even though the actual reason was a change in the job role
