Fairly easy, asked to explain how one would build out a proforma. Second part of interview related to previous experience in real estate. Most of the interview was related to personality rather than quantitative skills.
The process consisted of a phone call interview, in person interviews and a straightforward modeling test that required decent knowledge of financial statements and excel. Phone interview was mostly behavioral and in person was a combination of behavioral and technicals. Overall a fairly straightforward process.
Interview was fairly laid back. They were interested in experience with accounting / financial analysis, as well as why I was interested in real estate and the affordable housing program.
